Royal Coral w/ Boots

So last week Patrick and I went to a museum not too far from where we live....we had a great time! You can read about our trip here
I wanted to wear something comfortable but dressy.....and this outfit was perfect. It needed to have lots of layers so I could be ready for this fall weather....cold in the evening...cooler outside and warm in the museum.

The necklace and earings are a set and I only payed 2€ for them. The scarf was an added fun. ☺

Comfortable Fall Outfit

This style of outfit is not something I normally wear. I am not a big skirt & legging fan but tried it out for fun....
It really is comfortable. Especially the fleece leggings. Do you own some? They are a must have come winter time!

Tell me: Do you like wearing skirst & leggings like this?

Warm Browns & Elbow Patches

What screams more "Cold weather" than elbow patches? I found this H&M jacket at the exchange store I like visiting and I HAD to take it. It really isn't my colors but I just loved it too much to pass it  up. Brown is a favorite of mine and a staple color in my closet (I don't wear black).

The skirt you see above is normally longer but with the brown boots I love how the white tights just make the browns pop more. I love contrast.

So from the last three outfits what is your favorite?

Blanket Scarf in Fall

Hahahaha...don't you just love my face on that third picture!? I was trying to use some props in the pictures and before I was ready my camera started shooting the 3 pictures... and I had to laugh so hard and thought I'd post it for ya'll to see.

Today I chose the popular blanket scarf. Mine isn't actually a full blanket scarf which I think makes it easier to wear....and it will definitely get a lot of wear come winter time. The hat I stole from Patrick. I normally don't wear this style of hat but I thought it looked perfect for my fall inspired outfits. Don't ya think?

Polkadot & Lace

I haven't blogged in forever! And when I saw that Bramblewood Fashion was holding a Autumn Trend Event I decided to join and "play dress-up" on Saturday and come up with a few different fall outfits.

The one above does not have any typical fall colors but I can make my favorite colors work any time of the year. ☺ I love how the barret, scarf, lace cardigan and brown boots give this red, white and blue outfit a fun fall feel. Agree?

My fashion Tip for today is: Wear any color you want but use fall related items to be ready for the autumn weather!

What I Wore in Paris // Day 3

Bonjour et Au revoir!

Last post of our Paris trip. This dress was actually 3 sizes to big and kind of weird...but I saw potential.
On our last day, after a quick trip to the Eiffel Tower one last time we spent most of the day in the Louvre! We of course went to see the Mona Lisa....and then looked the Egyptian and Mesopotamia exhibition. We saw so much...yet so little from the Louvre.

Another special event was that I got to meet a blogging friend! We started emailing 3 years ago and finally we got to meet!

Have you ever met anyone because of blogging? Marie was the second person for me!

What I Wore in Paris // Day 2

Salut!

Our second day kept us on our feet....lots of walking and I definitly had more layers on today! During the day it was very sunny but in the evening on top of the Eiffel Tower was pretty windy and cold.

Our time in Paris was magnificent and being on top of the Eiffel Tower....breath taking. The third picture is of us on the very top!! Patrick was a bit nervous and I loved the view!

*I'm kind of embarressed of the first picture....my belt and skirt is crooked. Didn't see it until way later. :/

Are you afraid of heights?

What I Wore in Paris // Day 1

Bonjour!

I finally have time to share with you my outfits from our Anniversary trip to Paris! On the first day I wore this polka dot dress.
It was perfect for the occasion....comfortable but dressy for the city of love.
I wasn't wearing any layers which made my first day in Paris a very cold one....not only was it windy but very rainy in the afternoon!

By the way....windy and a full circle skirt isn't a great combination. The wind was actually the least of my troubles but the air vents from the metro caused my to have a Marilyn Monroe moment.....Too late I saw the vent...tried to quickly walk around as I held down the front of my dress....the air blew out the side of the big vent and....up went my dress in the back exposing everything....hahahaha....I was SOOOO embarressed! The people that saw it laughed/smiled.....what else can you do!

Did something like that happen to you before!?

Peach & Mint

I've worn this outfit (or something similar) and gotten many compliments. Everyone loves the fun colors....the reason I love wearing it!
The first time I wore this combo was for a shopping outing at IKEA....a rainy day and it made me feel so happy inside.
My friend foing with me was saying how she loved all the little details in this outfit...how even my tank top peaking out gave the outfit extra depth and the shoes....even if they don't perfectly fit really pull the outfit together.

Yes, she was right....I love this outfit....want to wear it on my trip to Paris! By the time this post goes live we are coming back....so we shall see if I packed it!

Review: Maybelline Tangerine Pop

As my Honey and I are headed to Paris today to celebrate our one year anniversary I thought I'd tell you about my new Maybelline color I found.

So I got a gift card to a popular drug store for a end of the year teacher gift. I decided to use that money to splurge on something I would normally not "just buy"....and as you know I love Maybelline's 24h Super Stay.

One of their new colors (at least here in Germany) was Tangerine Pop. I tried a little with their sample on my hand.....umm...I knew this already but again I had the lipstick mark on my finger for 3 days!....it really is SUPER STAY.....back to what I was saying....I loved the bright peachy pink color....and I've been wearing it ever since.

You can actually see me wearing it in the last two posts!

Would you try this bright colored lipstick?
